Interdisciplinary Studies

All Secondary One and Two students did Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) over a period of 6 weeks from May to July this year. The IDS guides students through a customised Design Thinking process that equips them to discuss and solve real world problems using the knowledge, skills and thinking taught in the various disciplines/subjects that they offer in school.
During IDS, students went through a series of specially designed lessons, consultations, learning journeys, and seminars, culminating in an exposition held in school on 7th July 2017. During the exposition, the students presented their prototypes and ideas to parents and teachers and were assessed by relevant industry experts.
