RELIEF GEOGRAPHY TEACHER

Requirements:

  • NIE trained graduates with relevant degree or post graduate degree;
  • Qualified to teach both upper and lower secondary students;
  • Experience in teaching Geography in secondary school or junior college; 
  • High competency level in the use of ICT in teaching; and
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong team player.

Subject Head, Chinese Language

Requirements:

  • Preferably with experience as a Subject Head, Chinese Language;
  • Good competency level in the use of learning platforms and ICT in teaching;
  • Experience in teaching Higher Chinese Language; and
  • Strong team player, proactive and good interpersonal skills. 

HOD, ICT

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT or equivalent preferred;
  • Preferably with experience as HOD, ICT;
  • Experience in delivering ICT curriculum and looking into ICT curriculum improvements so that students are kept abreast of the latest technology;
  • Experience in exploring, planning and implementing ICT use in a school environment; 
  • Comfortable in managing a team of ICT support staff; 
  • Ensures deployment of both internal and external ICT resources effectively including management of resources to achieve high levels of service; 
  • Good team player, open to new ideas / suggestions and flexible. 

AEP & Art Teacher

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Visual Arts or equivalent preferred;
  • Experience in teaching AEP & Art;
  • Knowledge and skills in different art media (eg; Craft, painting, sculpting, ceramics,
    digital art, etc.);
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys making art along with students from aged 13
    to 16 years old;
  • Good rapport and connects well with students;
  • Strong team player.

Subject Head, Chemistry

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science / Chemistry or equivalent;
  • Plans, designs and implements the instructional programme in Chemistry;
  • Vets the assessment papers and oversees the assessments in Chemistry;
  • Monitors and analyses the performance of students in Chemistry;
  • Plans and implements remediation and enrichment activities for the students;
  • Assists in the evaluation and development of teachers;
  • High competency level in the use of ICT in teaching;
  • Preferably with experience as a Subject Head or Subject Coordinator;
  • Experience in using concept-based teaching;
  • Good team player and organisation skills.

Chinese Language Teacher

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chinese Language;
  • Good competency level in the use of learning platforms and ICT in teaching;
  • Experience in teaching Higher Chinese Language; and
  • Strong team player, proactive and good interpersonal skills.

Language Arts Teachers

Requirements:

  • Degree in English Language & Literature;
  • Candidate must be passionate about mentoring adolescents;
  • Preferably experienced in curriculum writing;
  • Experience in teaching English Language and Literature;
  • Strong team player, adaptable, conscientious and positive.

PE Teacher

Requirements:

  • Degree or PDGE in Physical Education;
  • In-depth knowledge in at least one sport and ability to teach multiple sports for PE,
  • including dance;
  • Ability to manage CCA, with emphasis in character education;
  • Willing to go on both overseas and outdoor experiential trips;
  • Experience in leading school overseas trips;
  • Strong team player, ability to communicate well and think flexibly.

CHEMISTRY TEACHER

Requirements:

  • Trained graduates with relevant degree in Science or Chemistry;
  • Qualified to teach both upper and lower secondary students;
  • Experience in leading Science research and mentoring students in science research projects;
  • Able to  mentor students in Chemistry Olympiad and various Science-related competitions;
  • Able to craft and conduct science enrichment and STEM programme;
  • High competency level in the use of ICT in teaching;
  • Good team player and organisation skills.

Boarding School Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Handle guest relations & services;
  • Manage and coordinate boarding stay matters;
  • Assist in student welfare and admin matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or GCE “O” Level;
  • IT Proficient in MS Office;
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, good team player and maturity to handle student welfare matters;
  • Ability & willingness to take on physical groundwork to high level executive work;
  • Good event organising skills;
  • Able to work on shift duties, overnight stay and standby overnight emergency duties;
  • Preferably with customer service and hospitality experience.

MakerSpace Specialist Assistant

Someone who loves to work with their hands, tinker, invent and share that excitement with students in a school MakerSpace and grow the space to the next level of fun, creativity and exploration. 

Maker Area of Knowledge

Makers come from a diverse background. Knowledge in either of the fields below will be a plus.

  • Design and Technology related field
  • Arts related field

Be ready to share photos/video showcasing your digital and/or traditional fabrication projects!

 

Maker Experience

  • Digital Fabrication [CAD, 3D Printing, CNC Router, Digital Die Cut]
  • Basic Building skills using wood shop hand and power tools
  • Working with secondary school learners in a traditional or non-traditional educational setting
  • Apple Mac OX / iPad IOS technology skills
